Welcome to BeeHelp. In this guide, I aim to teach you the first steps to start using your account to respond to your clients, potential clients, or visitors.
In this guide, we will see how to add information about your business or product, how to make it accessible and consultable to your audience, and how the payment process works, including what is included in the free plan.
In the free plan, you can create up to 100 questions in a single account. In the paid plan, up to 10,000 questions. Typically, a questions and answers section for any service hardly needs more than 50 question-answers.
BeeHelp stores the information about your product or service in the form of questions and answers that the intelligence of ChatGPT will use to respond to information requests from your visitors.
The questions are grouped into collections called "Books". You can create as many books as you want, and they are independent from each other. You can decide to insert the query from one book on one website and the query from another book on another website or in another section of the same website.
For example, a typical collection could be "Frequently Asked Questions" and another one could be "User Guide".
In addition, within each book, you can group questions by categories. The interface of the admin panel is simple and easy to use. You just need to:
Each question-answer pair is composed of the following elements:
Alternative questions are statements that are worth adding to help the system retrieve the same answer when a visitor writes an uncommon question that can be answered with the same information as the question we have formulated in a more standard way.
For example:
These are questions that are answered with the same information.
The system is 100% multilingual in several ways:
We have seen how ChatGPT has responded to our visitors in Japanese, Chinese, Malay, Arabic, etc., languages in which we do not even know how to write a single letter. Isn't it fantastic? However, it is highly recommended that you add your questions and answers to the system in your local language and possibly in some of the major languages, such as English.
When you edit a question-answer pair, the "Visible" property refers to whether you want to include it in the list of questions and answers if you decide to display it in full on your website, in the classic way.
When can it be useful to define a question-answer pair as NOT visible? Well, when you have added it to the system because someone has asked about that subject, but it is actually something very minority, and you do not want your list of published questions and answers to be excessively long. For this reason, you may not want to display some of them.
However, ChatGPT will use all of them to respond to visitors, if needed.
From the admin panel, in the list of questions, you can test the type of responses the system offers to visitors.
The "Search similar" button opens a dialog box where we write the possible question from the visitor, and the system returns to us the list of questions ordered according to their level of "similarity", expressed in a new column called "Similarity".
The top two questions are likely to answer the question written by the visitor and are the ones passed to the AI to process a customized response.
The "Ask the AI" button allows us to receive the same response given to visitors when on the PREMIUM plan: ChatGPT drafts a customized response to the question written by the visitor, and additionally, the most similar question(s) used to do so are shown below.
This type of queries is charged in the same way as if they were made by a visitor. The costs are explained below.
As you already know, BeeHelp's service is offered in FREEMIUM mode, currently with two unique plans:
When you register, your account works in FREE mode, and when you load BALANCE into it, PREMIUM mode is automatically activated. If you run out of balance, then the system reverts back to FREE mode.
In the case of the FREE plan, there is a limit of 100 queries per day. After this, the query box will no longer be displayed to your visitors.
The same thing happens in PREMIUM mode when you reach the "daily consumption limit" that you have defined. This is to avoid unpleasant surprises.
In the administrator panel, at the top left, you have an indicator of the available balance in your account, and by clicking on it, you can access the "Balance Management" section.
There you can:
"Credit" refers to the balance you load from your card or by transfer (depending on your country and currency) and is an amount expressed with two decimal digits.
"Microcredit" refers to a credit amount that is set aside from the "credit" to be consumed in actions that involve "micro-consumptions". For example:
When the system has to annotate any of these micro-consumptions, it deducts the corresponding amount from your "microcredit" at that time. And if you have it at zero, it recharges it by taking 1.00 USD from your "credit".
In the "Credit Management" section that we have seen above, you can track the 1.00 USD consumptions that are being made.
But if you go to the "Configuration" section of the "FAQ" module, you will find a "History" of daily consumptions, with the exact decimal digit number.
In addition, in this section, you can define a reasonable value for the "Daily Limit" to avoid surprises.
When you register with BeeHelp, a separate page is created for you, with its own database and URL. The URL is of the following type:
"my-project-name" is the part of the URL you chose when registering.
In addition, you will receive access to the administrator panel by email, from where you can add questions and answers to your account, and control your consumption, balance and usage history.
The BeeHelp page assigned to you is the one you should share with your audience, such as customers, potential customers, users and partners. They can consult the questions and answers you have added and that you have set as VISIBLE in your account. They will also have access to a text box to make specific inquiries.
Note: Currently, anyone with the URL can access your page. Soon, we will implement a system so that you can block access to the information. Probably, a password will be required that you will share with your audience.
You can also insert 2 widgets on your website:
You can:
To insert one of these widgets, you must copy the code found in the "Configuration" section of the "FAQ" module. Keep in mind that:
Technical comments (for advanced users):
We want to add more customization features soon. For now, you can use the "Customize" section located in the "Settings" of the FAQ module in the administration panel.
